Dr. Boris Danev

In brief

I received my BSc. and MSc. in Computer Science from EPFL in 2005. I worked for Ericsson R&D Ireland from 2004 to 2006 on network management of wireless access systems. Then, I pursued a 1-year research exchange in NEC, Japan. My work focused on pattern recognition and biometrics under the supervision of Toshio Kamei. In 2007 I joined the System Security Group and completed my doctoral studies in 2011.

My research interests evolve around wireless techs, security and privacy, and my beloved area of pattern recognition and machine learning.
