In brief
I am a researcher in the System Security Group (D-INFK) at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich. I have been working on different topics in wireless security during my PhD, in particular on securing wireless radio transmissions against jamming, secure localization, and secure time synchronization. My research interests cover broad security topics.
I received my diploma in Computer Science from ETH Zurich in 2005. In my diploma thesis I analyzed information flows and information leaks during program execution.
From 2005 to 2007, I worked at the European Space Agency (ESA) - space rocks :-).

Forum for Women in Computer Science
There are way too few women in computer science in Switzerland. Between Sep 2007 and Sep 2011, I was co-heading the Forum for Women in Computer Science at ETH (Frauenförderung). This forum organizes and runs numerous events and programs, both for female high school graduates and for female students of the department with the goal to increase the number of female computer-science students at ETH (currently around 10%).
